What specialty did you study at the Academy? What year did you graduate?

Software development, 2021

What company do you work for now? What position do you hold? What tasks do you perform?

Currently, I work as a back-end developer for several companies at the same time, using Laravel and PHP technologies. My main job is to develop the server side of web applications and platforms. In addition, I develop my own projects - these can be landing pages, online stores, and various platforms. From time to time, I cross paths with front-end development, working with React. Such a variety of tasks helps me maintain high productivity and constantly learn new things.

What was your most memorable project that you are proud of?

To be honest, I am proud of each of my projects. Each of them is unique and has its own characteristics. They all differ from each other, so I always add a bit of my creativity to the development process. It is important for me not only to create functional solutions, but also to pay attention to design and user experience. I put a lot of effort into each project, from layout design to layout and product launch.

What projects have you participated in? Is there a link to the project website?

During my career, I have participated in many projects of various scales - from small landing pages to complex online platforms. Unfortunately, I don't have any references at hand, but I can say that each project was interesting and unique in its own way.

What role did ITSTEP play in your life?

IT STEP Academy has become a real mentor for me in the IT world. It gave me the opportunity to get acquainted with various aspects of the IT sphere, to understand which areas are closest to me. I gained basic programming knowledge, learned how to work in a team and develop my projects. It was at IT STEP that I found my specialization, which became the starting point for my further professional growth.

I'm sure that our students will be inspired by your success and it will give them motivation. What advice do you have for them?

My main advice to students is to never rest on their laurels. Practice is the key to success. Don't be afraid to experiment, team up with your classmates to work together on projects or startups. The more you work on real projects, the faster you develop your skills. And most importantly, don't be afraid to make mistakes. They are an integral part of the learning and development process.
