Dmytro Starodub

Back-end PHP Developer at K-3 Soft:

Graduated from:

Software programming

What company do you work for now?

At the moment, I am working at K-3 Soft, a full-cycle web and app development company for various industries, as a Back-end PHP Developer.

What are your responsibilities?

I design and develop the back-end of websites and mobile applications. Among them are crm systems, telegram bots, and a large number of websites in various fields.

What projects have you participated in?

Almost all of my projects are under NDA (non-disclosure agreement), so I can only say that each of them is interesting in its own way, each gives development and does not let you get bored.https://www.linkedin.com/in/dmitriy-starodub-152916141/

Please tell us about the most challenging and exciting project you are proud of.

There have been many interesting projects, but one of the most exciting was the one with the top officials of the state.

What role did ITSTEP Academy play in your life?

The Academy became a starting point and a clear realization that I was moving in the right direction. I gained good knowledge of programming and the basics of program design, which allowed me to choose my own development technology later. I was very lucky with my teacher (the head of the programming department is Dmytro Barabash). He explains things in such a way that even my wife, who is an HR professional, accidentally got to Dmitry's open lecture and understood what SOLID is and what it is for :)

What advice can you give to students currently studying at the Academy?

Choose the technology you have a heart for, not the market price tag. If you sincerely love what you do, then professionalism will not be long in coming, and with it a "nice" market price tag.
And yes, learn English. No, not even like that. It's like this: LEARN ENGLISH AND OOP! :)
