What projects have you been involved in?
I have several pet projects of my own that are available on GitHub. At Coinis, I took over the development of two projects. One of them is related to automatic translation into any language, which detects the language of communication and translates into the required language. For this project, I created a new artificial intelligence model. It is currently under development.
The second project is a Google Chrome extension called Workspace, which I recently released. It includes many features: a notepad, drawing capabilities, mini-games, podcasts, link saving, and a custom search engine. The project is being tested.
Also, one of my early big projects was the Poltava TV website. — https://ptv.ua/
What was the most challenging or interesting project for you?
Every project is unique and challenging in its own way. In some cases, it was work with artificial intelligence, in others, a complex Python backend. But I would single out two projects: "Poltava TV and Working Environment, on which I am especially proud of my work.
What specialty did you study at ITSTEP Academy? What year did you graduate?
I studied at the Junior Computer Academy for 5 years, but completed the program in 4 years, getting the highest marks. Most likely, it was in 2019.
What role did ITSTEP Academy play in your life?
A huge one. IT STEP Academy was my guide to the world of IT. It was here that I decided on the direction I like. I remember my mom saying: "You don't want to go to a regular school, but you're ready to go to the Academy even with a temperature of 40." I was really interested, I could sit for 8 hours, write code, assemble robots or create designs. I would like to express my special gratitude to Vitaliy Ihorovych - we are still in touch.
What advice would you give to our students?
The IT world is not easy. Continuous learning is an integral part of the job. And you need to learn not only from books, but also during projects. When you have a new project in front of you, you will definitely learn something new. Sometimes it can be difficult, especially when a project doesn't launch due to a lot of errors. I can tell you from my own experience: how many times I wanted to quit, but came back a few days later. The main thing is not to give up. If something doesn't work out, you can always turn to Google or ChatGPT. By the way, I always have ChatGPT open on the second monitor - this is a normal practice. Perseverance and dedication are your key allies on the way to success.
