"WEB-development", 2022
What company do you work for now?
I currently work for Platinumlist.net. It is an international event ticketing platform with management offices in Dubai and a development team in Dnipro. Here, I have the opportunity to develop in a large, dynamic project that constantly presents me with new challenges.
What is your position?
I am a Junior Full-Stack Developer.
What tasks do you perform?
My tasks are quite diverse: from working with databases on the backend to creating interfaces on the frontend, as well as developing small applications in Vue.js. The most important thing in our project is to understand the business logic, because it affects the quality of the final product we create for users.
What was the most striking/difficult/interesting project you had that you are proud of?
My main work is related to the Platinumlist.net project. It is a ticket booking platform for events in the UAE and around the world. I am proud to work on such an important project that helps thousands of people find and attend interesting events every day.
What projects have you participated in? Can you share a link to the project website?
At the moment, I am only working on the Platinumlist.net project. It's a challenging and exciting project at the same time, and I'm happy to be part of the team that creates an innovative product for users. You can visit the project website here:
What role did IT STEP Academy play in your life?
IT STEP Academy has become a real start in my career. It helped me to structure my knowledge and supplement it with new skills, which allowed me to confidently step forward in the development world. I am especially grateful to the teachers for their approach - they focused on practical examples and real-life tasks, which allowed me to use the knowledge gained at work as efficiently as possible.
What would you wish our students? We are sure that your advice will motivate them even more. We would also be grateful if you could record a short video message for them.
A wish not to give up and not to be afraid of failure. Where else but in programming do you encounter a lot of failures, mistakes, and misunderstandings? But this is normal here, it is impossible to write a code that will work 100% and cover all possible cases of its application. You need to learn how to learn from experience, not be afraid to ask questions, and directly admit what you don't know and want to learn.
